Reactive Processes for H2S Removal

چکیده

Growing demand for renewables and sustainable energy production contributes to a growing interest in producing high quality biomethane from biogas. Despite having methane (CH4) as its main component, biogas may also present other noncombustible substances composition, i.e., carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen (N2) hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Contaminant gases, such CO2 H2S, are impurities known being the causes decrease of calorific value corrosion, wear pipes, engines, among others. Thus, it is necessary remove these compounds before can be used applications electricity production, thermal purposes, replacement conventional fossil fuels vehicles, well injection into natural gas distribution networks. In this context, work aimed systematic review literature using multicriteria Methodi Ordinatio methodology describe processes materials H2S removal. The discussion indicated new used, advantages disadvantages observed limitations industrial implementation.
